Thanks again to the input from Jan Merlin, and another wonderful colorization job by Tom Powers, we now know what the "space fatigues" actually looked like. They were a slate blue in color, a bit lighter than the dress uniforms. The cadets usually wore these coveralls during space missions aboard the Polaris.
